Chances are you are already familiar with our famed CBD Queen, Cannatonic. If not, we stand by our claim that this strain is the most complex and valuable MMJ strain available today. Why? Simply, because Cannatonic is the strain responsible for the CBD movement; because it has never failed help patients reclaim their lives after injury or illness. We believe it is the single most effective medicinal cannabis strain available today, while also a fine exemplar of a cannabis sativa plant, with beautiful frosty and aromatic buds, never before seen carrying such massive amounts of Cannabidiol. This strain is responsible for more awards and acclaim as a medicinal strain than any other cannabis cultivar out there. Growers who understand this plants true potential will make all efforts to ensure this plant stays in their collection, in their medicine cabinet.
The CBD strain that started it all; a CBD revolution going back to 2008, when scientific analysis of the marvels of CBD were first being publicly known in mainstream media, hearkening a new wave of understanding and enthusiasm with the newest tool with the potential to use MMJ more effectively and responsibly. At the same time, our breeders at Resin Seeds were working on a new strain, which would unknowingly start a global frenzy, of people desperate to obtain nature´s newly discovered hope. That year, in Spannabis 2008, we were not really sure what to expect when the test results for our newest varieties were analyzed. The shock in our minds when the drastically elevated levels of CBD appeared was very vivid and very real. Slowly, the weight of the knowledge we´d just learned began to rapidly present itself. We knew we had something truly special and unique on our hands.
Never in recorded history, especially in the field of cannabis breeding, had there ever been a steady source of high CBD levels in any strain of cannabis sativa. There are those will argue that CBD has existed in hemp for millennia, and we will not argue this, but as hemp is catalogued as industrial hemp, and we are discussing an entirely different type of plant, medicinal cannabis sativa, but that is a topic for another post, the difference between hemp and cannabis. So, in our view, and as recognized by the MMJ community at large, we consider ourselves to be the founders of the CBD movement, with this Cannatonic strain. We know from RC Clarke´s book ¨Hashish¨ that some West African strains were found to contain amounts of CBD in varying degrees, but the modern cannabis breeding project has consistently bred away from this cannabinoid, deeming it an undesirable trait to include anti-psychoactivity when breeding for psychoactive effects. So although high CBD markers may have popped up occasionally in some strains, the ability to consistently find a balanced CBD:THC chemotype in every pack was virtually unheard of nearly a decade ago. Furthermore, as appears in approximately a quarter of the population in Cannatonic, plants which border near purity in CBD also shocked the world. Traditionally it was only in hemp cultivars where such disparate proportion of CBD:THC were found, although a highly impractical and ineffective source for many. Along came some chemotypes of Cannatonic, like the famed ACDC, Perkin´s or Valentine X cuts, which demonstrated once and for all that THC can be nearly bred out of cannabis, that cannabis can have true medicinal benefits without the feared psychoactive response always present.
As about half of the population will be near 1:1 CBD:THC, and another quarter to be high CBD low THC, one can expect 75% of Cannatonic seed to be CBD-rich, which can be declared when levels of CBD are higher than 4%. Also as the remaining quarter will be high THC low CBD, the ability to find a recreational strain with a potent high that recreates the flavor and resin content of the original HTCC award-winning strain is also present. Essentially, as the 3 most desired cannabinoid ratios are present in this strain, one can also mix and match the strains to find the optimal medicinal response. If all 3 main chemotypes, or the the entire harvest, is combined and used to make cannabis oil, the end result is a oil of a 1:1 average.

Dieseltonic cannabis seeds by Resin Seeds are Sativa/Indica hybrids, although they lean heavily to the Sativa influence. It is a feminized cannabis strain that originates from the cross of a Cannatonic and a NYCD. The end product is a high yeilder of the highest quality that sets itself apart from the rest in more ways than one. Unique terpenes and intense odors emanate from this plant; not your typical modern day hybrid.
Dieseltonic cannabis seed was bred to maintain the unique cannabinoid profile of our CBD Queen Cannatonic, all the while adding new flavors and size that were unavailable previously. The result is a stellar, easy-to-grow, vigorous marijuana plant that flowers reasonable fast for a Sativa hybrid and produces large, dense colas covered in resin. The effect is equally powerful as it is physical and cerebral, due mostly to the CBD enrichment of this genetic. The Sativa influence will allow for moments of creativity and inspiration, as well as help cover bouts of depression and pain. With the added CBD in these Dieseltonic seeds, one should be able to notice one´s entire body positively affected by the cannabinoid profile, as CBD plays a large role in our CB2 receptors, found all over the human body, regulating so many of our cells biological processes.
Dieseltonic marijuana seeds produce a medium to large sized plant that performs well indoors and in the great outdoors. The size of the plant is largely dependent on the time the CBD seeds are allowed to spend in the vegetative cycle. In a greenhouse, it can easily exceed 15 feet in height. These plants are suitable for growing the famous 10 pound trees that growers on the West Coast, USA have been know to produce.
Dieseltonic has an remarkable flavor and smell, with hints of citrus, cherry, fuel, woods and berries. This strain is a must for those who enjoy Diesel terpenes, as well as the myrcene and cherry flavors brought out by this plant.

One of the newest additions to the Resin Seeds lineup, this newest cultivar comes to the market to finally give the grower the perfect balance they seek in a medicinal plant. A plant with a high CBD content which also has big colas and buds, all the while dense resin coverage and wonderful smells.
Traditionally, most CBD plants have shown a sacrifice of yield and resin production in exchange for CBD content. This Hammershark strain becomes an interesting exception to that rule. Its lineage is Dieseltonic x Great White Shark. Dieseltonic is one of our own champion strains, a variety that took 3rd in 2013 at the High Times Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam. Originally known as Peacemaker. Acclaimed all over the world, including the West Coast of USA in the mid-late 90, where allegedly even the Wu Tang Clan members could not get enough. We here at Resin Seeds could think of very few other plants that would make such an interesting addition to our breeding program.
Although we bred many plants with the Great White Shark, we decided upon the Hammershark strain as our favorite cross. The yields on all phenotypes were simply massive, with enormous colas and trichome coverage that was beyond insane. Then when testing came back, we knew immediately we had something interesting on our hands. We knew there would be a lower percentage of seed to carry the CBD marker, but we were quite happy to discover that a full 50% of seed had high CBD content (we at Resin Seeds consider a high CBD content plant to contain at least 4% CBD). So essentially, half of the seed a grower plants would be CBD rich. Of these, 50% would be near 1:1 CBD:THC, and 25% would be near pure THC and the other 25% would be 25% near pure CBD.
One of the most interesting aspects of this plant is the beautiful colors and tones the plants gives throughout its life. Some of these marvels are available for you to see while you browse thru the pictures for this strain. Typically, a grower will see a change in colors of the plant as temperatures rise or fall in the the growroom. However, Hammershark will provide stunning images for your eyes to marvel upon in any growing condition. Outdoors, this plant is a beast. Not only for its tremendous production and smell, which can be quite overwhelming; but also for its ability to fight off pests and disease like PM, largely due to the CBD content and always relying upon a healthy condition in the plant.

THC STRAINS
Welcome to Bubblicious cannabis seeds. It would be a tremendous error to confuse affordability with quality and satisfaction here. Have a look at our classic strain Bubblicious. The name implies Bubblegum. The name brings the smell of that sweet sugary scent we all know and love from our childhood. The name implies it is delicious. It is. A highly unique plant in its terpene profile, the smells and flavors this plant delivers can be overwhelming. This is a strain which any and all grower must have in their vault. Get ready for big colas here, this is no joke!
An old school hybrid; as always, here at Resin Seeds, we aim to only work with the most select and praiseworthy phenotypes of a particular strain, never relying on the black market for random claims of elite cuttings, or years of endless searching to find a special plant. Rather, our networks and special industry friends allow us to go straight to the source. Our Bubblicious strain is a clear example. Rather than go thru endless packs of a particular strain, wasting time, money and effort in hopes of finding the often hyped but rarely seen elite cut, we cut to the chase here. Both these classic cannabis cultivars, Bubblegum(TM) and Lavender, are legendary classics on their own. The breeders here at Resin Seeds saw here a tremendous opportunity to leave their mark on the cannabis community, basking in the knowledge that both Adam of THSeeds and Soma were just a phone call away, with their chosen and tested mothers to offer up for further breeding.
The idea of working such classic lines was too good to pass up, so Jaime made all efforts to obtain these genetics. A short time later, an exciting new Resin Seeds strain was born; and one of our best-sellers to date. Ever since, this Bubblicious strain and its seed have been offering a high-class tasting experience that is beyond compare. Hard, dense buds, pungent and terpene filled, and most importantly, covered in resin. Floral earth tones, with lingering hints of bubblegum and citrus are to be expected. It can be a very large yielder, though should be handled/grown/pruned properly thru the vegetative stage, before entering the flowering stage, to achieve optimal success. Consider topping and/or supercropping here, as massive colas can be susceptible to botrytis in excessively humid conditions. Especially outdooors, all undergrowth and small insignificant bud sites should be removed to increase air flow and focus energy on flowering colas. Silica supplements are an interesting addition here.

Critical Haze by Resin Seeds is a rather sativa version of the famed Critical, as it was mated to a powerful cut of Amnesia Haze, forming a very special hybrid, that will leave all cultivators and lovers of these genetics absolutely speechless. It is perfect for all kinds of extractions, as it is produces tasty, powerful and very abundant resin. Indoors its a variety that branches little but has a long central cola, so we recommend placing 16 plants per m², as you will end up having an incredible harvest with yields that can top 450g. If pruning of lower branches is performed, it will focus its production even more on the central cola, although the nearest branches will also grow some, forming very productive plants with a trident shape. Its flowering cycle will last an average of 10 weeks, although the different phenotypes can be pulled earlier or delayed by up to a week. If grown outdoors, it will show a great structure, forming plants of up to 3m high, so if you want to have smaller strains and some aerial camouflage, you can perform apical pruning. Its structure will be thin, so we recommend using stakes, since the density that the Critical brings to the buds can cause it to pause its flowering to increase the strength of its branches. Harvest must wait until late October, although more experienced growers will appreciate the wait, as they can harvest crops up to 800g of an extremely powerful product. The bouquet is quite varied, beginning with incredible incense tones with a sweet and spicy finish, creating a pleasant fragrance that reminds one of anise. It is the perfect variety to consume with friends before watching a movie or doing any type of homework in a group, since it will bring you that cheerful and very social buzz, in which laughter is assured. Physically it is something heavier, so we do not recommend consuming it in excess, or it can become treacherous.

Sour P seeds from Resin Seeds are feminized hybrids of two modern classics, Sour Diesel (the Riri phenotype) and Amnesia Haze (Hy-pro cut). This reworked version of our classic sour flavour offers beautifully resinous buds, hard and conical like the Amnesia parents, with all the kushy terpenes the classic Sour D offered. Due its hybrid nature of both hazy genetics and indica couch lock attributes, this modern mix has a well rounded effect, allowing for a comfortable working ¨high.¨ These sour seeds are extremely flavourful, with a kush profile on the inhale with the acclaimed sour flavours to follow on the exhale. For optimal results, we suggest a few weeks spent growing the plant in the vegetative phase after germinating to ensure a large yield and maximizing time, resources and space.
Sour P Resin Seeds genetics are also among our favorite picks for extraction, as the high resin content will surprise any gardener whenever they process this strain. Returns of 20%+ are quite common with a standard separation of trichomes. Outdoors, this plant will finish by mid-late Sept in the N. Hemisphere, and when given sufficient time to grow, can easily yield 500 grams or more. Of worthy mention are the colors this strain offers, from dark purple hues to golds, reds and yellow; Sour P strain will offer up lovely nugs just waiting to be sampled and maybe even photographed. WHO WE ARE
Back in 2008, Cannatonic was unveiled to the public, and accomplished a feat not easily imaginable at the time: winning a High Times Amsterdam Cannabis Cup in a Sativa category with a CBD-rich plant. We can only suppose that the judges were so overwhelmingly impressed with the initial sensation of a balanced THC/CBD high that they had no choice but to include our Cannatonic seeds amongst the winners.
Since then, we have continued developing our CBD line to include Hammershark and Dieseltonic, which again won an award in Amsterdam’s High Times Cannabis Cup, this time in 2013. And now we are proud to announce our newest addition into our CBD lineup, Kushtonic, whose lineage will soon be unveiled. Many of our other strains, the high THC strains, are also well-known world over, and recipients of extensive awards, from Chile to USA to the Balearic Islands. Our genetics are now being grown in places as atypical to the common grower as Gambia, Slovenia, Cambodia, New Zealand and more. We can only suppose that the global debate over cannabis is reaching a tipping point, where communities are finally beginning to ignore years of backlash and brainwashing over the cannabis plant, and finally embracing the true merits it can offer.
How does a sacred plant become a medicinal plant to then be an illegal plant and then back to a sacred and medicinal plant? This is a paradox of the highest proportions. But here we are, in these modern times with cannabis all around us, growing wildly and controlled, subject to inspection and eradication, accepted and denounced. To this very day, thousands of families around the world continue surviving on the ability of cannabis to grow and thrive in whatever harsh or lush environment surrounds it, to then harvest and process the fruit of their labors to endure. Millions more rely upon it regularly to help them get by the struggles of daily living. Rather sadly and heartening at the same time, there are many millions more who regularly legally or illegally use cannabis or its resin to treat themselves of a medical condition. Unfortunately, the laws of the 20th century did not bode well for this special and majestic plant. But somehow, it found a way to fight back, to stay alive, to leave a footprint, to figuratively plant a seed with roots so strong it could never die. Now this plant is set into our collective mindset, as a species, we are finally, although often slowly, beginning to embrace the mystical healing properties of the plant. No more do we have to shun or shy away from it, nor do we have to promote or enforce a brainwashing that has gone on for too long. We are free to accept the marvelous benefits this botanical wonder has to offer.
